Centric Pipe BOSSIER CITY is seeking an experienced Human Resources Administrative professional. The position will reside in the company's office building which is on the company's industrial property. We are growing - come grow with us! Full time Overtime needed.
Position Purpose: Primary functions are to handle staffing and timekeeping. Monitor, control and administer human resources functions in an efficient manner. Serve as the onsite representative for human resources and, as designated, safety. Create and maintain structure and process control systems so to support operations related to recruiting, personnel records & document control, labor compliance, workers compensation, benefits, and disciplinary action. Execute initiatives that build efficiency, operational flexibility, and add value through employee productivity and consistency. May also support operations in any number of facets such as shipping & receiving, production reporting, basic purchasing, etc.
Human Resources Coordinator / Office Administrator will serve the functions of:
- Maintain & Develop relationships with staffing sources
- Execution of new hire and termination processes - control EE files via PAYCOM software
- Administer onboarding process, including E-Verify, I-9 paperwork etc, referral coordination for drug screenings and physicals
- Work closely with Corporate HR team to learn and follow protocols
- Timecard administration using HRIS platform
- Recruiting coordination - take and review applications, file applications and maintain the pool of candidates
- Maintaining highly confidential information
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a human resources administrative capacity, OR applicant with applicable degree (AA/BA/BS) and 1 years of experience will be considered
- General understanding of FLSA laws and Wage & Hour rules
- Comfortable in an industrial environment with many safety protocols and a no-lost-time objective
- Advanced competency in pre-hire and new hire processes
- Fluency in English, bilingual in Spanish is plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that involves Overtime
