Cashier/Customer Service

We are seeking a Sales Associate/Cashier to join our team! Must be computer literate and customer oriented. You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue. FULL TIME position, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Must pass a background and drug test. NO PHONE usage allowed during working hours

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers entering establishment
• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
• Assist customers on the sales floor - Show customer to item and assist as needed
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
• Inventory data input
• Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners
• Maintain clean and orderly store and checkout areas
• Answering phones for company

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Familiarity with cash register (computers) and cash handling
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong customer service skills
• Self motivated, responsible and detail-oriented
• Hardware store and plumbing or electrical experience a plus but not required
