What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior S&OP Program Manager position at Chewy Fulfillment?
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our Supply Chain Execution and Planning team based in Dania Beach, FL. This role will leverage the cross-functional teams to lead large-scale strategic planning activities in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. Planning activities will include building annual and quarterly operational plans, ramp plans for new fulfillment center launches, peak plans and planning for other events through the year. The successful candidate will be able to deliver the most accurate forecasts (inbound and outbound), inventory targets and allocation of demand & supply plans by the fulfillment center. The candidate will work with Operations partners to convert the plans into resource and capability requirements. This role is a high visibility role and this person will lead the generation of large-scale and complex plans that are presented to senior leaders and executives.
Strong candidates will have a history of leading large-scale flow and resource planning activities to support building operational budgets preferably in the e-commerce industry. They are excited by an opportunity to "roll up their sleeves" on a variety of initiatives and will leap at the chance to guide business strategy through the collection and synthesis of complex data. They can operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. They can influence and inspire action in others, with or without a direct reporting line. What you'll do:
- Build and manage the end-to-end planning processes and workflows to drive the capability & resource build and investment decisions for 1 to 2 years horizon.
- Build the ramp plans and manage the execution of ramp plans to support resource planning for new fulfillment center launches, peak planning and other specific events through the year.
- Create and implement inventory, demand, supply allocation strategies to maximize inventory placement, turns, sales, and customer experience.
- Continuously improve key end-to-end planning performance indicators from Forecast MAPEs to customer on-time delivery.
- Performing creative analysis using incomplete data to answer strategic business questions and support planning program development.
- Communicating strategic and tactical decisions through formal updates to a wide variety of stakeholders, including executive-level sponsors.
- The position may require travel.
What you'll need:
- 5 years of program management experience in the supply chain and/or logistics domain
- 3 years of S&OP planning and/or Integrated Business planning
- Experience in an e-commerce environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Advanced analytical skills and business judgment
- Proficiency in SQL and working with large data
Bonus:
- Master's degree (including MBA) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Analytics, or a related field
- Expert level skill with industry-standard analytical and tools, including SQL and Tableau
