Commercial Lines Account Manager

CHI Insurance Agency is a family-owned independent insurance agency with nearly six decades of doing business in the Pioneer Valley and surrounding regions. We are a rapidly growing agency with locations in Holyoke, South Hadley, Westfield and Springfield.

We are seeking a full time Commercial Lines Account Manager/CSR for one of our locations.

Commercial lines insurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Handle New Business and Renewals with producer/house accounts. This includes submissions, re-marketing, account rounding and, where appropriate, presenting renewal pricing.
• Generating additional revenue on the book of business in the form of increased coverage, account rounding, adding policy features and generating referrals for new business.
• Provide outstanding inbound service on claims, billing questions and endorsements
• Handles client policy change requests and needs throughout policy year, including company contact, endorsement requests and follow-ups and their review
• Develop and maintain relationships with our partners, carriers and vendors by providing excellent customer service.
• Prepare and maintains summaries of insurance, schedules, files, proposals and updates client files as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years experience in commercial lines insurance preferred.
• A "client first" outlook and solid customer service skills.
• Full knowledge of insurance products and carriers.
• A client-first outlook and positive attitude.
• Excellent in-person, phone, and email communication skills.
• Thorough computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft word, excel and outlook.
• An active Massachusetts P&C license preferred.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
