What are the responsibilities and job description for the Acupuncture Office Assistant position at Chinese Acupuncture Clinic?
We are seeking a committed, professional, team-supportive and calm individual to work one on one with a licensed acupuncturist at our clinic in Hendersonville.
This position is a mix of administrative duties and patient care. We offer on the job training as an assistant to learn the flow and various techniques needed to support out licensed acupuncturists.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Opening/Closing the clinic
-Check mail/ voicemail
-Answer phones
-Check patients in/ out
-Create appointments
-Collect payment
-Check for correct billing codes
-Rooming patients
-Assist acupuncturist with TCM adjunct techniques such as cupping , moxa and gua sha
-Light cleaning and sterilizing between patients and at end of day
-Running Laundry throughout the day
Required Qualifications:
-Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, web browsers, and computer software in general
-Ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
-Proficiency using MacOS X
-Detail oriented and commitment to accuracy
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Ability to respond to questions in a tactful and professional manner
-Knowledge and experience with EHR systems
-Ability to multi task and problem solve
- Ideally you are based in Hendersonville, otherwise you must live with in 30 minutes of clinic and and have reliable transportation
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30-5:30 (sometimes 9-6)
