Choate Rosemary Hall seeks candidates for an Assistant Athletic Trainer with a start date of August, 2024. The Assistant Athletic Trainer is an associate faculty position that reports to the Head Athletic Trainer. Responsibilities include the delivery of high quality, student-athlete focused sports medicine services within a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team.
The successful candidate must be BOC certified and possess (or be eligible for) state of Connecticut athletic training licensure. Ideal candidates will be able to apply critical thinking and make independent decisions regarding the assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and return to play decisions per state licensure guidelines. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing as well as possessing the necessary cultural competency skills to engage with and learn from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
