Craft Beer Tour Specialist

Job Summary
Join our team as a Salt Lake City Tour Guide and help create amazing experiences for our guests! We’re looking for someone who loves SLC’s craft beer and brewery scene and enjoys sharing stories with others. In this role, you’ll lead fun and informative brewery tours, engage with guests, and ensure everyone has a great time. If you’re outgoing, love meeting new people, and have strong communication skills, we’d love to hear from you! We offer both walking and driving brewery tours, giving visitors a behind-the-scenes look at SLC’s vibrant craft beer culture.

Duties

• Lead walking and the occasional driving tours while providing an outstanding guest experience.
• Share knowledge about SLC craft beer scene, including local businesses and history.
• Engage with guests, answer questions, and ensure they have a great time.
• Use strong public speaking skills to present information in a fun and engaging way.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and local offerings.
• For driving tours, safely transport guests to tour stops.

Experience

• Passion for Craft Beer & Storytelling – Enthusiastic about SLC’s brewery scene and able to share engaging stories.
• Strong Public Speaking Skills – Comfortable leading groups, speaking clearly, and keeping guests entertained.
• Excellent Customer Service – Friendly, patient, and able to adapt to different guest personalities.
• Knowledge of Local Breweries & Beer Making – Understanding of brewing processes, beer styles, and SLC’s beer culture (or willingness to learn).
• Time Management & Organization – Ability to stick to a tour schedule while keeping experiences smooth and enjoyable.
• Comfortable Walking & Driving – Willing to lead both walking and driving tours; must have a valid driver’s license and a clean record for van tours.
• Ability to Think on Your Feet – Quick problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations or guest questions.
• Weekend & Evening Availability – Tours often run during peak times, including weekends (Saturdays are a must) and evenings.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $50.00 per hour
