What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal - EVGC Starter Ranger position at City of Woodbury?
enforcing the policies regarding reservations, play on the golf course,
scheduled tee times and ensuring all guests experience a fun, safe and
well-paced round.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors the play on the golf course, including the calculation of the pace of play.
Monitors activity on the starting hole.
Regulates players on the starting hole to ensure payment of green fees and conformance to all golf course policies.
Enforces all rules regarding play on the golf course.
Assists management in setting up the course for various leagues, events, and
tournaments.
Assists other staff in the staging of golf cars.
Maintain and foster an environment, which facilitates the Exceeding Expectations
(professional, responsive, leaders) philosophy of the City.
All other duties as assigned or apparent.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to enforce golf course policies in a diplomatic manner.
Ability to use good judgment in dealing with customers.
Ability to work and cooperate with other staff members.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to coordinate large groups of people to ensure an organized and systematic
starting procedure.
18 years of age.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Past experience working in a service-oriented business.
Extensive knowledge of the game of golf.
