As the Occupational Therapist, you will assess students' functional abilities to identify needs related to fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and daily tasks. You’ll conduct thorough evaluations, prepare detailed reports, and craft individualized treatment plans that align with each student’s IEP goals. Through personalized and group therapy sessions, you'll help students overcome sensory and motor challenges, fostering their independence and success.

Collaboration is key—you'll work closely with IEP teams to design therapy strategies that complement educational objectives and promote learning in both classroom and real-world environments. Monitoring and documenting student progress will be essential to track their continued development and growth.

The preferred candidate must possess a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and hold a valid Illinois state license for practice. Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment is strongly desired. The role requires a deep understanding of child development, educational assessments, and school-based therapeutic strategies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, as the position involves close collaboration with students, educators, parents, and other professionals to support student achievement.
