What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant - Clark County Public Defender's Office position at Clark County Government?
The Clark County Public Defender Department has a full time administrative assistant position available.
Duties include:
- client support both in person and by telephone
- electronic filing of documents
- calendar management for multiple attorneys
- preparing pleadings, legal documents and correspondence
- follow and lead by example in performing all duties while adhering to Office and County policies
Applicants should be comfortable with standard administrative computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite and video conferencing programs such as Zoom. Education and/or experience in the legal field is preferred, but not mandatory.
Salary and benefits as follows: $33,475.00/year, Health/dental/vision. Enrollment in the Public Employees' Retirement Fund (PERF)
