Overview

Looking for a Full-time Office Manager/Bookkeeper to handle the day-to-day operations of a busy Oil and Gas contractor This position requires experience with Quickbooks/Sage /Construction Accounting, A/R, A/P, Payroll and Payroll tax reporting, bank reconciliations and HR. Knowing Prevailing Wage and Certified payrolls with DIR reporting a plus. Also included are invoicing, schedule of values, contracts and subcontracts, insurance and property management details. Strong computer skills across many platforms is required, attention to detail. Competitive salary and many benefits including retirement, paid vacation and paid holidays.

Duties

  • Manage office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative processes.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and performance.
  • Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Utilize QuickBooks or similar for financial management, including budgeting and payroll processing.
  • Supervise office staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain organized records of office supplies, equipment, and inventory management.
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role with strong administrative capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Quickbooks or similar accounting program.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in training development and human resources practices is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise staff while promoting a positive work culture.
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes and payroll management is a plus.
  • Strong event planning skills with attention to detail.
