CLEVELAND CLIFFS INC Senior Network Security Engineer in Cleveland, Ohio Cleveland-Cliffs is looking for an IT Senior Network Security Engineer. This position will work closely with a team of experienced Network and Network Security Engineers and will be located at the Cleveland-Cliffs Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. The Senior Network Security Engineer will provide a high level of technical and subject matter leadership and is a recognized expert with the Cleveland-Cliffs Network Engineering/Architecture and Network Security sector. The Senior Network Security Engineer will work with multiple network security and firewall technologies including Palo Alto and Cisco. The ideal candidate must have technical depth and a customer-first mentality, the motivation to take the initiative to own and resolve customer issues, and interest in working in a dynamic, fast-growing, learning environment. Summary of Responsibilities: Provide a high level of technical and subject matter leadership. Work closely with a team of junior to mid-level Network and Network Security Engineers. Work with multiple network security and firewall technologies including Palo Alto, Cisco, Aruba, and Dragos. Have technical oversight and project management duties for the network architecture at the Cleveland Works facility. Lead the design, architecture, and support for the corporate Network Security infrastructure including firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Network Access Control, and Network Security Monitoring. Provide technical leadership to Cleveland Cliffs subsidiary companies including FTP and CCTS (Canada based). Provide timely responses to all incidents, tasks, and requests assigned to meet Service Level Agreements. Maintain and implement network security policies across the corporate firewall footprint to include both on-prem and cloud environments. Maintain corporate ACL standards and assist with changes and audits to the ACLs deployed throughout the network. Assist in troubleshooting connectivity through firewall log analysis and network traces. Maintain and establish VPN connections for remote users and partner companies. Develop network and related security documentation, including diagrams and work instructions. Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency support. Provide Project Management and Technical Leadership at the Cleveland Works facility. Other duties as assigned. 10% domestic travel to other Cliffs locations (MI, IN, MN, IL, PA) and international travel to subsidiaries in Canada. Minimum Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT/engineering field and 6 years of experience as a Network Engineer or related. Must have 6 years of experience with IT network and network security architecture, design, and support; Project Management; Technical Mentorship; network security design for firewalls and Network Intrusion Detection systems. Routing and Switching (BGP, OSPF, VPC, VLAN traffic engineering, Multicast). Multiple security technologies, including network security, proxy, Micro segmentation, network security architecture; leading technical projects, from architecture to implementation. 2 years of experience with: DNS (Domain Name Service); authentication systems such as RADIUS, TACACS , SSO, LDAP ; Microsoft Active Directory; and Public Key Infrastructure, SSL, digital certificates.
