Job Description

This entry-level position’s primary focus will be on designing and implementing cloud-based, point of sale (POS) solutions for restaurants. We currently have positions available in Tampa.

Cloudpoint Hospitality is looking for self-motivated individuals who want to be part of a team that is transforming the way restaurants operate. You will be involved in working with our restaurant customers to set up their POS system, train staff, build a strong relationship, and ensure they are successful with their new solution. Requirements:

• Restaurant experience is a requirement

• Current User of the SpotOn platform is a HUGE plus
• Working knowledge of basic networking technologies, concepts and hardware is a strong plus
• Communication and Customer Service. You will possess the ability or skill to maintain appropriate communication with the client.
• You will have an outgoing, strong “people-person” personality.
• You will have an ability to diagnose and support over the phone.
• You will be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to handle at least 80% of all situations on your own, without phone help from other associates.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present information in front of groups
• Must demonstrate attention to detail and strong organization skills
• Ability to problem-solve and/or troubleshoot in a timely manner
• Adaptability, strong work ethic and professionalism in challenging situations
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Learn our POS solutions and become a product expert
• Install/configure POS hardware including terminals, handhelds, printers, and other peripherals
• Install networking devices including routers, switches, and wireless access points
• Conduct consultation sessions with owners/chefs to configure the POS appropriately
• Conduct training sessions with front-of-house, back-of-house, and restaurant management
• Maintain and document implementation plans and network diagrams
• Test/troubleshoot unknown networking problems
• The ideal candidate will be flexible with hours and willing to work weekends as needed.
