What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Service Representative/Teller position at Co-op Credit Union?
The Co-op Credit Union is seeking an enthusiastic, high energy individual to work in their Montevideo, MN office. The ideal individual will be a problem solver and must have good written and oral communication skills. Computer skills are required.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Processes all transaction requests for members, such as payments, transfers, deposits, cash advances, and withdrawals with accuracy
- Answers incoming calls in a professional, timely, and courteous manner
- Other member service duties typical of a financial institution
- Understands and follow all credit union policies and procedures
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all credit union products and services along with the benefits and features of each.
Requirements:
- Prior work experience in customer service or a related position.
- Excellent member service and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive, professional image and a high degree of confidentiality within the workplace.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of financial products and services.
