The Controller role at Cole Hardwood, Inc. is a key position that requires a hands-on approach to overseeing the financial operations of multiple business entities within the organization. This position will also be responsible for managing the financial aspects related to Indiana Dimension, Inc. Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial reports, managing cash flow, overseeing budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Experience working with multiple family-run businesses and the ability to tie them all together cohesively would be a plus, ensuring financial processes are aligned across all entities. The position demands a deep understanding of both traditional accounting principles and the unique dynamics of working in a family-oriented business environment, balancing financial integrity with maintaining strong relationships with family stakeholders. The Controller will play a crucial role in providing financial insights to guide decision-making and contribute to the company’s sustainable growth.

Qualifications
- Experience with family-run organizations
- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
- Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
- Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting or finance experience, with 3 years in a leadership role
