Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive operational transformation strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement.
Project Management
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of operational improvement projects. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Manages the program of strategic projects to implement process and technology capabilities, focused on risk reduction, cost efficiencies, process optimization and time savings.
- Develops strategic recommendations and roadmaps to transform Retail processes to drive new levels of effectiveness, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Conducts research ("horizon watching") on industry and customer trends that influence the strategic roadmap, including regulatory changes, emerging risks, digital innovations, and evolving customer preferences.
- Manages the development of business cases for new requests, including reviewing for consistency, business benefits calculations.
- Partners with key stakeholders to align strategies and execution activities to support the broader Ret Develops recommendations and presentations to senior leadership regarding strategic risk, efficiency, and experience capabilities.

- Manages the development and documentation of strategic roadmaps for BC and Retail Risk and Operations.
Process Improvement
- Lead cross-functional teams to analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices, standardize processes, and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Develops innovative solutions to solve critical business problems or to meet priority business objectives (e.g., reduce costs, improve productivity, reduce risk, support communications initiatives).
- Manages the innovation pipeline, including ideation and execution of Proof of Concepts (design of the "experiment", metrics, and evaluation of results).
- Leverages advanced problem-solving skills and techniques (data analysis, LSS, etc.) to develop solutions to address root causes of issues.
- Engages partners and consultants to explore and evaluate innovation solution.
Performance Metrics
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress of operational transformation initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks, trends, and opportunities for further improvement.
- Manages the portfolio of projects including governance, which includes administering the intake of submissions, producing executive reporting on the project portfolio, and conducting quality reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Manages the Project Prioritization process, where new project requests are reviewed and prioritized.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, department heads, and external partners specifically Enterprise Program Management Office and Information Technology to align operational transformation efforts with broader business strategies.
- Regularly communicate progress and results to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with core functional leaders to identify and solve for gaps in process, resource needs and technology to improve speed to market, product quality and on-time delivery.
- Partner with core functional leaders to develop business cases, ROI and KPI's to push initiatives forward.
- Socialize ideas and execute change initiatives with speed and tact.
- Ensure projects are progressing within budget and timeline, efficiently utilizing resources while executing risk assessment across the projects.
