Job Duties
Independently performs reviews and provides business process consultation to district and CHS level operations to improve efficiency. Through analytical business process outcomes provides operational, technical and administrative programmatic activities, and implements/manages the needed directions and manuals to meet the agency wide programs for CHS field operations. Characteristic activities include the responsibility to review and determine corrections to administrative CHS involved programs; budget and financial development, business processes; business manager’s organizational development and needs assessments. Independently designs course curricula based on business process analytical outcomes of CHS business programs, developing lesson plans & instructional materials. Facilitating needed training for individuals and teams, securing needed equipment and other resources for instruction.
Minimum Qualifications
• Requires knowledge of principles and practices of public administration/management, and administrative functions and programmatic
issues affecting large complex state agencies
• Ability to interpret and provide guidance on policies, regulations, and procedures and program decisions
• Ability to work independently; manage multiple projects and priorities; analyze data, and conduct independent research
• Ability to act as a subject matter expert in multiple CHS programs and develop and implement CHS business administrative needs, (e.g. budgeting, finance, Business Processes, & policies)
• Strong problem-solving, customer relations, and leadership skills
• Requires the ability to lead successful team, including effective oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to teach, communicate, and consult
• Experience in developing training plans, conducting presentations and consulting
Additional Considerations
• Advanced demonstrated knowledge of business, healthcare, public health administration, or a related field.
• Significant senior level administrative management, or public health experience and information
• State or local government accounting experience
