What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Manager, Foodservice Category Marketing position at Conagra Brands, Inc.?
As Associate Manager, you will manage a variety of product categories within our Foodservice Frozen business. You will help develop and implement marketing plans including marketing strategy, sales coordination, pricing activities and general project management to support the category. You will report to a Director of Category Marketing.
What You'll Do:
- Manage P&L elements for assigned categories to attain annual and long range financial goals
- Develop and implement growth strategies
- Coordinate resources and teams on projects to achieve our goals
- Conduct competitive and industry analysis
- Guide customer-driven Category Management projects for assigned categories
- Develop category marketing collateral and promotions
- Develop insights/rationale and lead development of category innovation
- Assist the Director of Category Marketing with all elements of category management to include: pricing activities/trade spending, forecasting, analytical support, A&P management, RQI programs, planning, and supply chain alignment
- Help with overall Frozen Pillar tasks such as A&P Sift management, GS1 product updates for compliance purposes and other projects as they arise to support the business.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3 years related experience in Foodservice preferred or similar
- Experience with P&L management
- Experience conducting detailed business analysis and making recommendations for lines of business
- Industry knowledge of Foodservice syndicated services
- Experience with project management and leading project teams
- Understanding of Foodservice marketing programs, including promotions and collateral
