A private equity–backed CPG and lifestyle apparel brand with a global D2C presence is seeking an experienced Fractional CFO to support its finance organization through a key transitional period. This interim leadership role requires a finance executive who can operate at a strategic level while stepping in to stabilize core accounting and reporting functions as needed.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Partner directly with the CEO and private equity sponsor to lead financial strategy, performance reporting, and cash flow planning
- Oversee global consolidations across multiple entities (U.S., U.K., Germany) with exposure to foreign currency and international accounting practices
- Drive the preparation and delivery of board and lender reporting, including covenant compliance and borrowing base calculations
- Lead 13-week cash flow forecasting and provide forward-looking insights to support growth and operational decisions
- Support the audit process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
- Provide stability during a leadership transition and offer hands-on support across FP&A, close, and process improvement
Ideal Profile:
- Prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience within a PE-backed CPG or retail/eCommerce company
- Comfortable flexing between strategic finance leadership and controller-level execution when needed
- Deep understanding of cash flow forecasting, inventory management, and international operations
- Familiar with eCommerce revenue models and platforms such as Shopify; NetSuite experience helpful but not required
- Adept at managing lean, globally distributed finance teams
