Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee the accounting operations. As the Controller, you will be responsible for managing accounting functions, financial reporting, and internal controls, ensuring that all financial operations align with company objectives and industry regulations. This is a hands-on leadership role that will play a key part in supporting our fast-paced and growing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the company’s accounting operations, including reporting.
- Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Ensure the integrity of financial records, internal controls, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
- Lead the accounting team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and manage tax compliance processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and reporting tools, optimizing efficiency in alignment with business objectives.
- Support operational teams to streamline financial processes, ensuring profitability and cost control.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience in construction industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
- Proficient in Viewpoint Spectrum and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
