We are looking for a qualified medical office manager (consultant) part-time to run our medical facility in Douglasville, GA. You will be responsible for day-to-day operation, budgeting, and maintaining medical and staff records. As a medical office manager consultant , you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform well in potentially stressful situations.
We seek a natural leader that has the ability to maintain neutrality and objectivity in the workplace environment with company employees. Our position requires knowledge of healthcare systems operations, billing(outsourced), payment plans, A/R Quickbooks and revenue cycle management.
Ability to work with accounting to generate P/L statements with a focus on maintaining practice viability, sustainability and long-term growth. However, the ideal person is self-driven and takes pride in the success and completion of whatever goals, tasks or initiatives they are assigned or delegated. Direct report and daily status updates to the owner and CEO.

Responsibilities
- Engage with an outsourced billing company to ensure maximum revenue and accountability (A/R tracking, payment plans on outstanding balances)
- Order medical and office supplies and monitor budget
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures
- Supervise office staff in a professional, objective, and neutral fashion.
- Maintain provider and staff records and essential HR functions.
- Liaise with medical director and advanced providers to identify potential office dysfunctions
- Arrange cleaning staff and emergency maintenance services as necessary
- Marketing practice in a cost-efficient manner with maximum return on investment with a focus on practice growth and expansion.
- Coordinate Advance Provider recruitment with a focus on long-term retention of current providers.
- Coordinate transition to hybrid model of in-person and patient virtual visits
- Generate inventory records
- Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards
- Daily communication with practice owner and status updates of outstanding issues and strategic initiatives
- Train assistant manager in place to transition into manager role of that location as we seek to stabilize and expand into nearby states
Skills
- Proven work experience as a medical office manager
- Knowledge and experience of accounting, data and administrative processes and principles
- Ability to handle medical records discreetly
- Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations
- Communication skills and a customer service orientation
- BS degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or relevant field strongly preferred
