Accounts Payable Specialist

Core Dermatology is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This is a full-time position that will be on-site and based out of the Peoria, IL corporate office.

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for assisting with financial operations through management of accounts payable functions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts payable process
• Review invoices and orders for accuracy
• Ensure all company payments are completed timley
• Reconcile all accounts payable transactions
• Assist with monthly closing reconciliation

Requirements:

• Associates's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-2 years of AP or other related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excell
• Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes, medical coding (ICD-10, CPT), and billing guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving revenue-related challenges.
• Customer service-focused attitude, with the ability to handle inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Salary Information:

This is a Non-Exempt position. The budgeted base hourly rate is $20.00.
