Status: Part-Time
Shift: 4pm – 7pm, Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Hourly Pay: $12.00/hr

Position Summary:

Come share your contagious smile with others! As a Concierge at Countryside Manor Assisted Living & Memory Care, you will be the welcoming face for our residents, families, and visitors. Your passion for helping others, strong organizational skills, and ability to quickly problem-solve will be essential to creating a positive, engaging experience for all.

In this role, you'll ensure the smooth operation of the facility by assisting with a variety of tasks and fostering a warm and supportive environment. You’ll interact with seniors daily, helping them feel valued, comfortable, and connected to their community. Your contributions will make a real impact on the daily lives of our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services: Greet residents, visitors, and family members upon arrival, offering assistance, answering inquiries, and providing directions. Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and families, ensuring their needs are met in a professional and caring manner.
  • Resident Support: Assist residents with various needs, such as arranging transportation, scheduling appointments, coordinating deliveries, and handling special requests to enhance their daily lives.
  • Facility Coordination: Help ensure the smooth operation of the facility by communicating with staff, reporting any concerns, and maintaining a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication between residents, families, and staff, ensuring updates are shared and concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Administrative Support: Perform light administrative duties, such as maintaining resident files, scheduling appointments, and assisting with facility-related paperwork.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve any issues that arise efficiently and with a calm, compassionate demeanor, ensuring that both residents and family members feel heard and cared for.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to assist with emergency protocols, ensuring that residents are safe and that staff is alerted as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in hospitality, healthcare, or senior care is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a healthcare-related field, preferably in senior living or memory care settings.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with seniors.
  • Ability to stay calm, professional, and compassionate in all situations.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations (HIPAA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with senior living management software is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods as needed.
  • Capable of responding quickly in emergency situations.
