The ideal candidate possesses the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- At least one year experience as a receptionist or related administrative role;
- Experience answering multi-line telephone, transferring calls, and taking messages;
- Greet and assist clients and visitors;
- Accept packages and document deliveries;
- Prepare outgoing mail and overnight packages;
- Maintain the front reception area in a clean and orderly fashion;
- Maintain kitchen and office supplies;
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Basic Quickbooks experience is a plus but not required;
- Operation of standard office equipment, such as copier, printer, scanner, fax machine, postage machine; calculator;
- Perform various administrative tasks, clerical in nature;
- Run errands, such as to the post office, bank, and office supply stores;
- Assist with holiday decorating and miscellaneous projects as they arise;
- Works efficiently, and multitasks with ease;
- Follows directions, is conscientious, and highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines;
- Must be personable, dependable, and on-time;
- Ideal candidate lives in the Kingwood area or within 15-mile radius.
This position is 40 hours per week: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and includes a 1-hour lunch break. It is not uncommon to work extra hours during the busy tax season. Occasional weekends will be required as we get closer to IRS deadlines. To be considered, you must be able to commit to this type of schedule.
$13-$15 per hour depending on experience. We offer a Simple IRA, vacation, and generous holiday schedule.
