Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Our client is a stable manufacturer in the environmental robotics industry. They're seeking a strong Sr. Accountant to join their team. It's a great opportunity for someone to learn all areas of the company and grow professionally. They offer a collaborative work environment and are in the office 5 days per week in Long Island City (Queens) with a flexible start time. Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant :

• Work closely with the operations and production team members
• Assist the CFO with implementing internal controls and processes.
• Work with customers and distributors to help resolve their non-technical concerns
• Create invoices.
• Review credit card statements and assign the proper expense code description for each transaction.
• Collaborate with external accounting firm to ensure they have everything they need.
• Work closely with the CFO during the open enrollment period and add / delete employees if need be.
• Processing checks for A / P when necessary.

Once the checks are processed, obtain proper approvals.
