SUMMARY
The Reservation Sales Supervisor will be responsible guiding and managing the overall day-to-day activity and performance of the reservation team. This includes all sales and service opportunities, performance management, hiring, staffing, training, problem resolution, process improvement, application of company policies and guidelines. Tasks are varied, non-routine, and complex. This individual must be able to work under routine to limited supervision, while responsible for specific functional areas, projects, and teams within the reservation department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Supervises the overall activity and performance of the reservation team.
- Responsible for recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, counseling, development and disciplining of direct reports.
- Prepare staffing for seasonal and ‘peak’ activity.
- Ability to develop the sales and customer service skills of their direct reports.
- Assist in problem resolution, process improvement, and application of company policies and guidelines.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all reservations.
- Monitors calls and provides feedback in a routine and timely manner, conducts scheduled performance reviews.
- Conducts needs assessments as necessary.
- Ability to lead and manage change.
- Identify and resolve problems; prepare action plans.
- Establish and manage quality assurance programs.
- Help to define user requirements and customer-service standards.
- Additional job responsibilities will be assigned as necessary.
- Assist the manager with various special projects.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or prior related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear and use hands to handle, feel, or type. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The working conditions are normal for a call center environment.
