We are currently seeking a skilled Real Estate Transaction Coordinator to join our team and assist in managing the administrative aspects of real estate transactions.
Position Overview:
As a Real Estate Transaction Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of real estate transactions from contract to close. You will be responsible for coordinating all administrative tasks involved in the transaction process, liaising with clients, agents, lenders, title companies, and other parties to ensure timely and accurate completion of all necessary documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the transaction process from contract to close, including securing escrow, coordinating inspections, appraisals, and other due diligence activities.
- Communicate regularly with clients, agents, lenders, title companies, and other parties to provide updates and ensure that all parties are informed and on track.
- Prepare and review contracts, addendums, amendments, disclosures, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with lenders to facilitate the mortgage approval process, including providing necessary documentation and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Schedule and coordinate property inspections, appraisals, and closing appointments, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
- Maintain organized transaction files and documentation, to ensure that all records are complete and easily accessible.
- Provide outstanding customer service to clients, answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing assistance throughout the transaction process.
- Assist agents and brokers with administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the real estate office.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in real estate transaction coordination or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of real estate contracts, forms, and terminology would be helpful.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and discretion, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Real estate license or willingness to obtain one is a plus.
