Supervisor- Housing Choice Voucher Program

Job Description

One full time position available immediately! The Program Operations Supervisor will oversee the operations of the Housing Specialists by reviewing and monitoring staff's work performance. Ensure that the staff shows continuous progress in customer service relations with internal and external clients. The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally and maintain a level of tolerance when speaking with or assisting the staff. Must possess superior organizational and leadership, and interpersonal skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Work closely with staff and assist them by setting expectations

Assign caseload/work to staff for processing

Generate reports to measure/chart employee's work goals are met

Assist staff with issues concerning caseload complications

Generate system reports SHCVS to assure work is being complete

Review and sign Intent to Terminate to ensure information is correct prior to sending information to client

Sign vouchers and execute contracts timely to assist clients in their moving process

Capable of recognizing staff's deficiencies and take disciplinary action when warranted

Process PAR and HCR Transmittal monthly

Perform HQs Inspections when required

Perform initial and annual evaluations on staff

Qualifications / Experience

Bachelors degree in a related field from a four year college or university

At least 5 years experience in a Supervisor/Management role

Combination of both education and related work experience
