Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with hands-on experience in Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) and Snowflake to join our data management team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data governance, and master data integration to drive business insights and support enterprise data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret complex datasets using Snowflake and Informatica MDM to deliver actionable insights.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements, define metrics, and build data models.
Profile and analyze master data sources to identify data quality issues and work with teams to resolve them.
Support data integration, cleansing, and enrichment activities using Informatica MDM tools.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes between Informatica MDM and Snowflake.
Create dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present analysis results to stakeholders.
Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across systems and support governance frameworks.
Document data definitions, business rules, and metadata in collaboration with data governance teams.
Conduct root cause analysis of data issues and recommend improvements to data workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
9 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar role.
Strong expertise in Informatica MDM including data matching, merging, survivorship, and hierarchy management.
Solid experience in Snowflake writing complex SQL queries, working with semi-structured data, and performance tuning.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Experience with data quality and data profiling tools.
Knowledge of data modeling concepts (logical/physical) and data warehousing principles.
Familiarity with ETL concepts and tools, particularly integration between MDM and cloud data platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Working knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
Background in healthcare, finance, or retail domain is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
