Kubricky Construction Corp. is seeking to add valued team members to its growing family for full-time positions as Superintendents.
This position involves supervision and oversight of road construction, paving, and/or utility projects, requiring the applicant to manage project budgets and schedules.

Job responsibilities include:
- Following and reinforcing company safety policies
- Leading field operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity
- Coordinating forepersons and crews to ensure adequate staffing of jobs
- Monitoring and improving crew productions and understanding goals
- Meeting with forepersons and crews to plan daily schedules and effectively communicate goals of the project with forepersons
- Communicating with owners, agencies, and inspectors
- Maintaining compliance with all safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Managing day-to-day operations of the job site, including material procurement, equipment use, and laborer oversight
- Ensuring site safety controls and developing SSHASP in collaboration with the safety department
- Attending meetings and providing technical assistance
The position requires performing various tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, stretching, walking, climbing, and bending under potentially adverse field conditions, as well as performing visual tasks such as backup spotting and hearing/reacting to backup alarms, according to safety protocols.
Qualifications include:
- A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering/construction management (preferred)
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a bridge/heavy highway construction field (required)
- A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to adapt to and learn various computer applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others and as a team
- Proficient knowledge of NYSDOT standard specifications as it relates to construction
- Ability to interpret blueprints and analyze job costs
- Able to complete required duties in a fast-paced environment and within stated deadlines
- Willingness to travel
- A valid driver's license or reliable transportation to report to work on time
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen
Compensation includes base salary commensurate with experience, participation in the company bonus plan, an excellent benefit package, and a company-funded pension plan.
Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
