What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weld Fabricator Prototype position at D & N Bending Corp?
D&N Bending is seeking a Entry Level and mid-level Experience Welders. We are looking for someone with MIG and TIG experience and is familiar with working with aluminum and steel. Pay would be dependent on the candidates experience. We are looking for candidates that can meet deadlines, have a positive attitude, are comfortable working both in a team and independently, and that follow safety standards and regulations. This job calls for the ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time and lifting of up to 50lbs. This is a full-time position, located in Brown city and/or Romeo.
- Must have a Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Fabrication background, a must
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations, preferred
- Certified in MIG/TIG Welding, a plus
- Ability to read blueprints

Responsibilities:
- Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion or shrinkage.
- Weld, cut and braze Metal (steel/aluminum) pieces and products by using flame cutting and hand welding equipment.
- Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.
- Prepares, assembles and tack welds parts and surfaces to be welded.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
