Temporary Staff/Accounts Payable/Receivable Accountant

We are currently seeking candidates for a Temporary Staff/Accounts Payable/Receivable Accountant at a software located in Newark, NJ, 07102.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of accounts payable/accounting experience.

This is a temporary role (6 months) and will pay up to $40.00 per hour (based on relative work experience) within a 40-hour work week.

On-site 3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reconcile Accounts Payable and Bank Accounts
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable Accounts
• ACH/check/wire requests
• Post receivables to client accounts
• Process invoices
• General Ledger reconciliation
• Journal and adjusting entries
• Work with suppliers to resolve account discrepancies and payment issues
• Assist with month-end close
• Assist with financial reporting
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 3 years of accounts payable/accounting experience
• Proficiency in NetSuite is highly preferred
• Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
