Are you passionate about golf and dedicated to providing exceptional service? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Golf Superintendent to join our team and contribute to the success of our golf operations. You will oversee all activities related to the ongoing maintenance of the golf course, grounds and equipment. The Superintendent will lead the staff recruiting, hiring and training effort in the maintenance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Grounds in overseeing all aspects of the golf grounds
- Ensure the course is maintained to the highest standards of playability and appearance
- Supervise and train grounds maintenance staff, providing guidance and support
- Coordinate with the Golf Pro Shop to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Monitor and control expenses within the golf grounds department budget
- Assist in organizing and executing golf tournaments and events
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain effective communication with staff, guests, and management
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or related field is a plus
- 3 years of experience in golf course operations, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of golf course maintenance practices and equipment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings
Salary : $19
