Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Account Executive & Sales Representative to take to grow our sales efforts further. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales, preferably within the government technology or civil engineering sectors. This role involves identifying key decision-makers, demonstrating our platform’s capabilities, and representing DeepWalk at industry conferences to drive adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through conferences, email campaigns, social media outreach, and partner programs.
- Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with municipalities, engineering firms, and universities to promote DeepWalk's solutions.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct in-depth presentations showcasing our platform’s features and benefits to prospective clients.
- Conference Representation: Attend and exhibit at industry events to boost brand awareness and generate leads.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
- Process Optimization: Improve existing sales processes, collateral, and lead generation strategies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales, ideally within the government technology or civil engineering technology sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical concepts related to our platform.
- CRM Expertise: Proficiency with sales management software and CRM systems (we use Hubspot currently).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Travel Availability: Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time for client meetings and industry events.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
