What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director, Law Admissions position at DePaul University?
- The Highlights:** The Assistant Director in the Office of Admissions reports to the Assistant Dean of Admissions and plays a key role in the recruitment and admissions of students to the College of Law. This position directs the CRM/application database, executes a nuanced communication plan, and enhances recruitment and yield strategies through involvement in on- and off-campus events. This position directs JD recruitment strategy, including off-campus recruitment events. The Assistant Director also focuses on yield and contact with prospective and admitted students in large groups, small groups and individually as well as with prelaw advisors, key colleges and pipeline programs. This is a professional position that requires extensive travel as well weekend and evening hours to attend Admissions programs and events and to meet with prospective students throughout the United States and internationally.
- Manages Off-Campus and Application Generation Recruitment Strategies and Represents the College of Law at Recruitment Fairs and Pipeline Programs
- Assists with Information Sessions and On-Campus Events
- Manages Data and Prospective and Admitted Student Communication Flows throughout Enrollment Funnel
- File Review and Cohort Management
- Supervises one support staff and one student worker.
- Reconcile procard activity and create travel budget for recruitment/College representation purposes.
- Bachelors degree required. Prefer a JD, Masters in Education or equivalent education & experience.
- A minimum of 2 - 4 years experience in admissions in a progressive, fast-paced university environment is preferred.
