Treasury Clerk Summary
Under the supervision of the Chief Finance Officer, the Treasury Clerk will be responsible for daily cash reconciliation, daily cash transaction reports, and tracking cash flow using standard bookkeeping and accounting methods. Works with physicians, staff and other facility departments when developing and implementing policies and procedures. Participates in a team environment to include open communication, trust, and accountability.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
· Associate degree in accounting, business or finance or a minimum of 5 years in a treasury role.
· Proficient with bookkeeping and accounting software.
· Extensive knowledge of MS Office, with a focus on intermediate Excel skills (V and H-Lookup, Pivot Tables, and utilization of various formulas on extensive datasets). **MUST** be a high-functioning Excel user.
· Ability to maintain focus for long periods of time.
· Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
· Strong attention to detail.
Essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):
· Assisting with the supervision of DMA’s treasury/cash flow activities.
· Preparing and communicating daily banking activity reports.
· Physically counting and verifying cash.
· Investigating and resolving discrepancies with cash transactions.
· Documenting all daily cash transactions.
· Reconciling bank deposits and payments.
· Periodically auditing clinic cash bags.
· Maintaining financial records, logs, spreadsheets.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
