JOB PRIMARY PURPOSE/FUNCTION
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Director of Multicultural Ministry in the execution of their duties. The Administrative Assistant performs clerical and pastoral support work for the Multicultural Ministry Office.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Translating documents from English to Spanish and vice versa.
B. Provide various clerical duties such as copying, filing, typing and word processing, reports, mailing and other related items as necessary or needed.
C. Compose and prepare routine correspondence as directed.
D. Greet all visitors and route incoming mail daily.
E. Provide telephone support and appropriate information to callers.
F. Proofread all documents to ensure they are free of errors.
G. Maintain accurate mailing lists and ensure materials are available for mailings.
H. Organize financial records for director's budget proposal and prepare fiscal year-end budget and data for reports.
I. Prepare various documents such as agendas, minutes, and mailings.
J. Creating reports and assisting with special projects as requested by the supervisor.
K. Assists with the preparation of the different programs and activities of the office.
L. Position includes other duties as assigned by the Director of the Multicultural Ministry, who will establish priorities for tasks.
M. Cover reception on as “as needed basis” being a part of the administrative pool.
N. Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
A. High School diploma or equivalent.
B. Proven administrative assistant experience, with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

D. Advanced understanding and application of technology to areas of responsibility, including competency with Microsoft Office programs.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
