We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will organize and coordinate our critical human resources functions, including staffing and recruiting, payroll processing, compensation and benefit administration, employee training and development, labor laws regulation, and employee wellness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date job descriptions.
- Conduct workforce planning and strategic HR initiatives.
- Oversee employee benefits programs and payroll processing.
- Develop and update company policies and employee handbooks.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.
- Handle employee relations, complaints, and grievance resolution.
- Conduct employee surveys and recommend changes.
- Implement and maintain competitive compensation structures.
- Facilitate organizational training and development programs.
- Manage risk and safety programs.
- Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective actions.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration required.
- PHR or SPHR Certification required.
- Specialized training in employment law, compensation, employee relations, safety, training, and labor relations (preferred).
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Human Resources.
- Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficiency in creating reports, responding to surveys, and writing policies and communications.
- Ability to teach HR topics in a classroom setting.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to develop solutions.
- Knowledge of HR functions, activities, and objectives.
- Familiarity with ADA, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and FLSA.
- Strong motivational skills to encourage employee behavior aligned with company goals.
- Ability to conduct fair and accurate personnel evaluations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRMS/HRIS systems.
