Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Behavioral Health Services: Provide Behavioral Health Services to FEMA personnel affected by disaster events.
- Trauma and Stress Counseling: Offer care for individuals who have been exposed to traumatic events, addressing issues such as survivor's guilt, grief, and acute stress related to the disaster. Offer tools and resources to help employees manage stress and build resilience.
- On-Site Support: Engage with response workers on-site, offering one-on-one counseling and support as needed.
- Stress Lectures: Conduct stress-related lectures to educate personnel on managing stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Crisis Leadership Support: Assist managers in leading their teams through crisis situations, offering guidance and resources to maintain productivity and morale.
Role and Impact:

Qualifications
Experience Required:
- Master's degree in clinical social work, clinical mental health counseling, or equivalent degree in social and mental health services.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical counseling or related field.
