What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at DoubleTree by Hilton Boston-Andover?
The Accounting Clerk will play a role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the DoubleTree Boston-Andover. This position will be responsible for general cashiering, income auditing, and other accounting functions. You may also assist with Payroll duties and accounts receivable.
General Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and reconcile all daily revenues, receipts, and ledger balances from the Hotel Property Management System (OnQ) and F&B Point of Sale (Micros) into our Financial system
- Complete and reconcile daily cash deposits and credit Card transactions
- Work closely with Night Audit/Front Desk staff and develop/update appropriate standard operating procedures
- Complete any other duties assigned by the Executive Team
- Respond to guest phone calls/emails regarding billing questions/ folio assistance.
Job Requirements:
- Have an outgoing, welcoming personality that understands the importance of hospitality in dealing with customers as well as staff
- Proficiency with computer systems, including hotel management software
