This is a new Drift location opening in Porters Neck in early May. All staff training would take place in mid/late April. Training would last around a week and a half, before opening day.
About the job:
As a FOH Supervisor, they are required to supervise the floor when the General Manager is off, including maintaining a proper flow of service for hosts, servers, and the kitchen. On weekend days, they would work alongside the GM and ensure all aspects of service are operating smoothly. They must be a strong leader and communicator, while attending to all aspects of the floor during the shift. They are a positive influence through training and education for other baristas and strive for the highest of standards in drinks, guest interactions, attitude and brand ambassadorship. They must be able to handle high-volume stress, be able to multi-task throughout the shift, and offer customer service to all guests in the building. The role is constantly sharpening their knowledge on coffee and the tools used to make great tasting drinks. This is a role for someone who has already demonstrated a high level of skill and performance in coffee, food and hospitality and wants to lead others to do the same.
This is a full or part time position based in Wilmington, NC and this role will report to the store General Manager. Must be available for weekends.
You will:
- Deliver impeccable hospitality to our guests and your fellow teammates
- Train, develop and up-skill baristas within your store and the Drift ecosystem
- Be knowledgeable of coffee beverages and cafe menu items
- Focus on team workflow, constantly improving to provide the highest levels of hospitality and efficiency
- Follow Drift recipe guidelines, training protocols and sanitation procedures
- Support your team in keeping the cafe running smoothly and beautifully
- Communicate all issues and concerns with the General Manager. Work closely with Kitchen Manager on days the General Manager is off.
- Supervise the floor with the General Manager and be able to execute service well and understand when and how to assist fellow teammates.

You have:
- 2 years of food service experience
- Shift Supervisor or Floor Manager experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain a proper flow for service
- Existing ServSafe Certification, or completion within 60 days post-hire
- Hospitality and customer service skills
