We are actively seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join an international foodservice distributor that has been bringing food and beverages from all over the world into our grocery stores across the country for 50 years!

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in managing and optimizing international freight operations to ensure timely deliveries from overseas suppliers to U.S. destinations. Your expertise will be instrumental in supply chain execution, compliance & risk management, and continuous process improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Spearhead international freight operations, orchestrating seamless movement from overseas origins to U.S. destinations via air and ocean.
• Implement proactive shipment monitoring protocols, delivering real-time updates and swift issue resolution to internal teams and clientele.
• Navigate complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring adherence to FDA, USDA, Customs, and international trade regulations.
• Foster and manage critical relationships with logistics partners, including warehousing providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of shipment data and costs, identifying and implementing efficiency improvements and cost-saving measures.
• Utilize advanced tracking tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across the logistics network.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes, enhance delivery times, and optimize resource allocation.

What You’ll Bring

• Expertise in International Shipping Regulations, including customs and documentation
• Technical savvy with logistics software and MS Office (knowledge of ERP systems a plus)
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment, where every day brings new challenges and every client brings unique needs.
• Ability to handle high-pressure, deadline-oriented projects
• Can-do attitude, ready to roll up your sleeves and jump in wherever needed to support the team
• Strong sense of accountability for your work, along with the confidence to ask questions when you're unsure
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain and/or industry certifications a plus
