OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for growing the HR function for Eagle Distributing, a family owned and operated distributor, over the years we have grown to 6 warehouses that service over 1800 customers in Nebraska.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Onboard new hires through our HRIS system.
- Verify new hire documents
- Screen candidates
- Attend local career fairs, and build recruritn relationships with local college and employment groups.
- Provide customer service to our employees
- Manage leave of absence and FMLA
- Assist managers with coaching and discipline processes.
- Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department initiatives about established goals Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of department and services performed
QUALIFICATIONS
- HR generalist experience
- Bachelors in human resources or related field preferred.
- Onboarding, and recruiting experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
