Position Overview:
- Ideal consultant would work closely with the Internal Marketing Team, design agencies and print vendors on various design, print and multimedia projects.
- Must be able work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality of final product.
Responsibilities:
- Attend kick-off meetings to discuss project overview including design needs and project timeline.
- Manage various digital, print, and multimedia projects and assigned tasks within workflow tool; assigning job codes and keeping milestones updated throughout the Project Life Cycle.
- Review design proofs for accuracy and brand adherence and provide feedback to creative agency partners.
- Traffic design and print proofs to Marketing Managers and other Creative Services Team members to obtain necessary feedback and approvals.
- Purchase approved imagery for projects as needed.
- Work with the premium vendor to research, produce and fulfill premium items/kits for direct mail projects.
- Monitor progress of work to ensure projects are kept on track and update schedules accordingly.
- Obtain print quotes and award jobs to appropriate print vendor.
- Release files to print vendors and provide clear and comprehensive instructions on final job specs and delivery information.
- Review print proofs and route for necessary approvals.
- Back up final files on the server upon job completion & close out project in workflow tool.
- Reconcile invoices and obtain necessary approvals.
- Enter requisitions in Ariba for all completed jobs to ensure timely payment to agencies & vendors.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 - 4 years of Creative Project Management/Trafficking or related experience.
- Has financial services experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of the creative development process.
- Working knowledge of direct mail and commercial/financial/digital printing.
- Organized, self-starter who is dependable and extremely detail oriented.
- Flexibility to work within tight deadlines in a high-volume corporate environment.
- Must be resourceful, adaptable, and collaborative with a positive attitude.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PPT).
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Ariba.
- Experience in Percolate.
