Human Resources Payroll

Our client is a fast-paced and growing finance firm located in West Los Angeles, is currently seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join their HR and Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our payroll systems and supporting our growing workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for 200 multi state employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure all employee data (e.g., new hires, terminations, benefit deductions, tax withholdings) is up to date.
• Coordinate with HR and Accounting teams to reconcile payroll discrepancies and ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries to management.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, timekeeping, and compensation.
• Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and audits.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and internal payroll policies.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of payroll experience, preferably in a corporate and multi state company.
• Working knowledge of payroll systems (ADP or Paychex) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and wage/hour regulations.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• CPP certification is a plus but not required.

This position is 100% in the office, this firm offers a base salary of $100k-$105k with a strong bonus, great benefits, and excellent company culture.
