Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. As an SEO Specialist for a nationwide plumbing company, you will be responsible for optimizing our website and online presence to increase visibility, drive organic traffic, and generate high-quality leads. Youll play a critical role in enhancing our brand reputation across local and national markets, ensuring potential customers find us when they need plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities :

SEO Strategy Development

Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy for the company's website, aligning with business objectives and growth targets.

Conduct market research to understand local and national customer search behaviors and plumbing industry trends.

Keyword Research & On-Page Optimization

Perform extensive keyword research for national and local search terms, identifying opportunities for lead generation.

Optimize on-page elements, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, and content, to ensure maximum visibility.

Content Optimization & Creation

Collaborate with content writers to create high-quality, SEO-optimized content, including blog posts, service pages, and location-specific landing pages.

Ensure content reflects user intent and promotes valuable information about plumbing services.

Write engaging & SEO driven content for the company's blog, emails, Ads, landing pages, promo bar copy, white-papers and more

Technical SEO

Audit website for technical SEO issues, including site structure, page load speed, mobile optimization, crawl errors, and schema markup.

Work closely with the web development team to resolve technical issues that impact SEO performance.

Local SEO & Google My Business (GMB)

Optimize Google My Business profiles for all service locations, ensuring accurate and engaging business information.

Monitor and respond to customer reviews, engaging with users to enhance reputation and visibility in local search results.

Link Building & Outreach

Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks and increase domain authority.

Conduct outreach to industry publications, local directories, and relevant online resources.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Monitor and analyze SEO metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and ROI.

Provide regular reports on SEO performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement to management.

Continuous Improvement & Trends

Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm changes, and best practices in the plumbing and home services industries.

Implement A / B testing, experiment with new SEO tactics, and make data-driven adjustments to the SEO strategy.

Qualifications :

Proven experience (2 years) as an SEO Specialist or similar role, preferably in the home services industry

Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO

Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog)

Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and trends

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Knowledge of Google My Business optimization and local SEO strategies
