Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Must be able to stand on a consistent basis throughout an 8-hour day
- Dexterity, hand mobility and repetitive movement is a must
- Physical ability to bend, twist and lift is needed
- Lift up to 30 lbs.
- Environmental temperatures range: 60-70 degrees
- Flexibility to work within different departments
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with a team and/or independently
- Good Hygiene is required
Food Production Associate Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Outstanding attendance record
- Available to work overtime during high volume periods
- Must be able to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects or adhere to quality standards
- Performs hand-made confection activities on various production lines
- Understand and follow GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) for the care, handling and storage of food products; and report any known or observe violations to management
- Communicate to Team Leader, Management and support departments as needed
- Follow safety procedures for SQF (Safe Quality Foods) and ability to read and interpret Food Safety procedures, safety procedures and requirements for quality control guidelines
- Understand and follow procedures for use of the department equipment
- Perform duties accurately and on a timely basis in accordance to the production schedule and verbal instruction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.50 per hour
