Intern, Quality Control

Just-Evotec is seeking a motivated and creative intern who desires a significant opportunity to improve worldwide access to biotherapeutics. The Quality Control team is seeking a candidate to join a fast-paced, collaborative, and multidisciplinary team to introduce automated product filling in biotherapeutic manufacturing. The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of solution handling and instrument use. Previous programming experience is preferred. The ideal candidate should have strong written and verbal communications skills, work well independently and in teams, and constantly look for ways to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-throughput product fill program development in support of GMP biotherapeutics
• Contribute as a team member to shared responsibilities, including general laboratory upkeep
• End of internship presentation to leadership
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Working towards BS (junior or senior year) in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or related scientific field
• Excellent attention to detail and planning and organizational skills
• Experience working in a wet laboratory (either in academic or previous industry internships)
• Pipetting experience
  
  

Pluses

• Understanding of product stability principles and GMP
• Experience with programming
• Understanding of automation instrumentation
  
  

Note: This is a paid 12 week fixed-term internship located onsite at our Redmond facility. This position is open to all students legally authorized to work in the United States based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship, benefits or relocation for internships. The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour.
