Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team on various construction sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with excavators, and will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating machinery to support construction projects. Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment, including bulldozers, backhoes, and loaders, to perform various tasks on construction sites.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate work activities and ensure project timelines are met.
- Assist in building foundations, grading land, and moving materials as required.
- Operate water trucks as needed for dust control and site preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and loaders.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
- Physical stamina to operate machinery for extended periods while performing manual labor as needed.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to heavy equipment operation and construction processes.

Pay: $24.28 - $26.26 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
