HR Generalist
As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions within the organization. You will be responsible for providing HR services, guidance, and support to employees and managers across multiple departments. This role requires skill in Workday application with versatile skillset encompassing recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, training, and compliance.
You will be a key member of the operations team responsible for creating exceptional employee experiences through daily case management and coordination with our vendors. This role will focus on requests across the entire employee life cycle. Accommodations experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
Workplace Accommodation Process Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers requesting accommodations.
- Review accommodation requests, including medical documentation, and engage in the interactive process.
- Identify and evaluate potential accommodations based on the employee's functional limitations and job requirements.
- Collaborate with managers and HR Business Partners to implement approved accommodations.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and standardize procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with policies and regulations.
HR Communications:
- Contribute to the development and dissemination of HR communications, including policies, procedures, and announcements.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, recognition programs, and wellness activities.
- Maintain HR intranet pages and other communication channels to ensure accessibility of information.
I-9 Compliance Audits:
- Conduct periodic audits of Form I-9 documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Review completed Form I-9s for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of completion.
- Identify errors, omissions, and discrepancies in Form I-9s and associated documentation
Document Organization and Classification:
- Develop and implement document management policies and procedures for organizing and classifying documents based on content, type, and importance.
- Establish naming conventions and metadata standards to facilitate efficient document retrieval and searchability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine document retention schedules and disposal guidelines in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Compile and analyze leave data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Generate reports on leave usage, trends, and compliance metrics.
- Make recommendations for process enhancements based on data insights
- SLA Adherence to ensure employee experience
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in HR compliance,.
- In-depth knowledge of Form I-9 requirements and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation review.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
